Split Marrow Bones/ Canoe-Cut Marrow Bones

These are SO easy to prepare. I’ll admit, they rarely make it off the baking sheet, since I just scoop the marrow out onto crusty bread while I’m cooking the rest of the meal. for people with more self-restraint, though, these are a beautiful presentation that make for a perfect appetizer.

Simple Baked Marrow Bones:

Remove marrow bones from packaging and pat dry. Lay on a rack or broiling pan over a rimmed baking sheet.

Season with salt, pepper, and/or a rub of your choosing.

Roast at 400 degrees for about 18 minutes (until tops are getting toasty brown and the marrow is soft and spreadable).

Top with chopped parsley or a quick mist of lemon juice if you like a little brightness.

Spread over crusty bread to serve.
